ST. LOUIS COUNTY (April 29, 2020) – County Executive Dr. Sam Page announced today a new initiative through St. Louis County's Department of Public Health to help businesses prepare for reopening the St. Louis County economy. The Department of Public Health will provide businesses with science-based guidance so that every industry and sector of the local economy will be ready to implement new social distancing practices when they reopen.
"We will be working closely with local businesses organizations to make sure best practices are adopted, workers are protected, and customer safety is prioritized," Dr. Page said. "Reviving the economy safely is one of our top priorities and this initiative will make sure local businesses are prepared to reopen."
The initiative builds on other collaborations between St. Louis County and the local businesses community in crafting an effective Stay at Home Order, streamlining social service supports, and preparing to implement state-of-the-art compliance programs for CARES Act expenditures.
