St. Louis County, MO (January 13, 2021) – St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation was recently awarded a grant from the Missouri Humanities Council (MHC) to fund a Junior Historian program at two historic sites in the St. Louis County Parks system.
MHC is the only state wide agency in Missouri devoted exclusively to humanities education for citizens of all ages. It has served as a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities since 1971.

Children will receive a work book filled with educational and historyrelated activities relevant to each site. Upon completion children will receive their very own Junior Historian badge.
